Behaviors

Red Swamp Crayfish
The crayfish behaves in many ways. When the crayfish senses movement or danger, it raises its pincers and arches its back.  They also curl their tails under and shoot backwards in the water.  The female also curls its tail to protect her eggs.  The crayfish also defend their territory by pinching intruders and back up to show dominance.
